Chief Morale Booster & Canine Strategist

A native of Southern California, Celeste joined NuPOINT in the supporting role of guide dog for our CFO Jim Rowley. A graduate of the highly competitive Guide Dogs for the Blind (GDB) in Marin County, she and Jim were matched in 2021. In 2023 she earned a coveted spot in the annual GDB calendar as Miss March, raising more funds for the nonprofit than any other calendar nominee.

When she’s not in a leadership role in the finance department, and she’s out of her guide dog harness, she’s a playful pup who makes the rounds in staff meetings to see how many pats and scritches she can collect. However, when the meetings run long, she has been known to lie down on her bed in the corner of the conference room and proceed to snore.

In her spare time, Celeste loves chasing tennis balls, trying to climb into Jim’s lap and chewing on her favorite red alligator that squeaks.
