Kelly Rissler
Senior HR Business Strategist

Kelly is an experienced business leader and human resources professional with a 30+ year track record of success.  Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Kelly graduated from the Florida Institute of Technology, where she earned her Master of Science Degree in Business Management and Human Resource Management.

Prior to joining NuPOINT, Kelly worked at E.W. Scripps Media Inc. as a HR Business Partner where she was a trusted advisor to senior management, implementing business strategies and leading the onboarding actions for newly acquired TV stations in the central and western regions.  Prior to Scripps, she was VP of Human Resources with Gannett Co., earning three HR Excellence awards for her leadership and talent development initiatives at multiple work sites.  One of Kelly’s proudest work experiences was as a project analyst at Kennedy Space Center in Florida, where she supported the Return to Flight program following the 1986 Challenger incident and later trained the NASA workforce on Continuous Quality Improvement.

Kelly is a Certified Facilitator with True Colors International. Her other professional achievements include an Advanced HR Leadership Certification from Cascade Employers Association, Certified Professional Manager from James Madison University, Frontline Leadership/Leadership 2000 Training Certification from Zenger Miller, and Total Quality Management Certification from Tennessee Associates. When she isn’t helping businesses gain a competitive advantage, Kelly enjoys cooking and entertaining, taking long walks with her dog and traveling with her husband and friends.
