Sue is an avid traveler, with Paris, France topping her list of her favorite places to linger outdoors over a leisurely café crème and croissant. Her preferred travel companions are her three adult children, their spouses and her three remarkably smart, handsome and talented grandsons.
Sue is devoted to animal welfare and regularly fosters homeless dogs, especially hard-to-place pups (a few of whom have ended up as family members.) She is interested in world history and enjoys European historical fiction. She is never happier than when she has garden soil under her fingernails and she spends countless hours nurturing her backyard gardens. Her love of the natural world spills over into her home, where she has too many houseplants, is interested in indoor hydroponic gardening, and tries (often unsuccessfully) to grow unusual Violet species.
