When a major nonprofit wanted to shift gears and drive collective impact across an entire state, a comprehensive, scalable strategy was in order.

United Way of Delaware needed to aim higher, take its work to scale, and focus its resources.

Working with the UWDE Board and staff, NüPOINT helped steer a seven-month process to develop a comprehensive, five-year strategy aimed at driving true collective impact through focused efforts in three strategic areas and eight specific communities.

Work included participating in strategy sessions, guiding content development, authoring a comprehensive strategic plan, and developing marketing strategies to sell in the new strategy.

The Result

Living United 2024, a five-year strategic plan to address the root causes of some of Delaware’s most pressing social problems.
The plan sets specific goals for early-grade literacy, college and career readiness, and financial stability and empowerment. Launched in the Spring of 2019, the plan is expected to yield measurable gains in all these areas over its five-year course.
